El 2011 será un año que personalmente recordaré por haberme pegado a Radio Doble Nueve y en especial al programa Solo Nuevas, con Mr. Fantasy, donde pasan los estrenos y lo más actual del indie y el rock contemporáneo.
El año que se fue nos dejó grandes álbumes, canciones inolvidables que hicieron bailar, soñar y cantar a millones y aun más increibles bandas que empezaron su "long way to the top" con muy buen pie, como Foster The People o Capital Cities, por nombrar a algunas de mis favoritas del 2011.
El recuento anual que realizó Doble 9 durante 12 horas ininterrumpidas de ranking fue el cierre con broche de oro que puso fin al 2011. El 31 de diciembre simplemente no despegué la oreja de la radio y pude disfrutar uno de los más esperados y comentados rankings del año.
Estas son las 150 mejores rolas del 2011. Muchas se quedaron afuera pero las que lograron entrar en la lista son una muestra de lo que fue el doceavo año del siglo 21 en términos de música.

La número 1 fue la gran sorpresa para muchos. DJ BELLY dejó a muchos con la boca abierta cuando luego de anunciar que llegó el momento de conocer a la mejor del 2011 puso "Pumped up Kicks" de Foster the People , una canción que ya había estado en el ranking del 2010 y que nadie esperaba como número uno en 2011. Pero solo era una falsa alarma, Belly nos jugó una bromita al presentarla como bonus track. La número uno le pertenecía a Young The Giant:
